A short story
DottyPic started in 2025. The founder is a girl who has always loved polka dots, and the first tool was a simple polka dot background generator.
Along the way she kept noticing the same small needs around social media photos: a quote that does not cover the face, overlays that match the shot, backgrounds that feel ready to post. Heavy editors felt like too much for those tiny jobs.
So DottyPic grew into a set of small, easy tools. The goal is simple: make photo editing feel lighter, and help everyday pictures look more atmospheric without layers, accounts, or watermarks.
